This statistic is concerning since, according to the CDC, one in five adults in the US are living with a mental illness. The earlier people can be provided access to quality care, the better chance we have at improving our overall community health. Mental healthcare should not be overlooked or undervalued as it affects us all on an individual level as well as within our interpersonal relationships.
